Noisufnoc cirohpue is an idiosyncratic self-portrait representing the emotional states of euphoria and confusion. The painting seeks to illustrate the feelings and emotions of delirium and ecstasy characterised by emotional but trance-like states and experiences of mystic self-transcendence. The rationale behind my theme is inspired by personal experiences and interests behind incoherence. Noisufnoc cirohpue explores expressionistic styles of painting through textural aesthetics achieved through the use of pallet knives and impasto mediums. The thick and buttery raised textures in the paint are intended to express the sensations of sight and touch during an experience of euphoric confusion.
