This is a collective study by Gr 3 and 4 students. We looked at the use of Contemporary Colours and patterns and by using bold oil pastels created two large images of a serpents after investigating several images and stories of Indigenous Dream time and Creation. These sketched large scale images were then divided into equal sections so each student was then responsible for designing their own part of the Serpent within the drawn guidelines. We then matched up our bright individual pieces to create this dynamic piece which as a class whole reflected our understanding of the study of this Unit of work.
