This pencil is a hyperrealistic drawing of my late grandfather. For my Unit 4 piece, I didn’t really want to incorporate a complicated theme, but instead work on refining and improving my technique with pencil and mouldable materials. The portrait you see is a replica of the photo at his funeral and the sculpted flower, created from pulled sugar, is a replication of the flowers from his funeral as well
