Students were posed the question... "If I was a bird what would I look like?"

We researched a variety of birds & their distinct features including size, colour, shape & behavioural characteristics.

After selecting one or a combination of species that best suited themselves students set about making their sculptures using newspaper, masking tape & cardboard.

Once each bird was assembled students painted & embellished their creatures with beads, sequins & feathers to make them as unique as themselves.
