This artwork explores the idea of empowerment in individuality. Vitiligo is a skin condition where patches of skin become pale or white. In a world where social media dictates the way we should look and behave, we are expected to conform to a universal standard of beauty. Through the vitiligo blending in with the distinctive grain of the wood, I want to show that beauty is in being unique and different.e
