Ballot Statement

I'm just a regular Eve guy playing a girl character. I'm indy first, pvp second. I have FC'd fleets and multiboxed mined. Proud online gamer since 1999. I talk too much in channel, drink too much when I fly, and probably make my corpies more mad than happy...

I started playing online games with Team Fortress Classic in 1999. I've been online since. I’ve helped lead 500+ player clans and created a clan that was live for 4 years and held top spot in a competitive ladder. I’ve played all sorts of games from RTS (C&C), MMO (Eve, SWG), FPS (Battlefield), and even combat flight simulators (Aces High).

In life I'm a data engineer for an analytics firm and I love the world of computing. Once I cloned an old Intellivision game called Tron Deadly Discs in Unity cause I though it’d be fun, fantastic game by the way. I build all my own machines and commonly add/upgrade them. I’m married with 3 kids and live and play in US EST timezone.

I've done just about everything in Eve. I loved my short time living in WH space, but NS is my home now. I used to run an 11 account mining operation before the Rorqual changes, I opted to slowly build capacity with my main two in stead once the changes landed. I help out with my corporation's industrial operations also, which entails mostly of building capital parts. I programmed our corporation website which takes orders and helps us to organize our build operations.

On the combat side, I am a SC with GSF and love to fly EWar ships, the Armageddon is my favorite ship in the game, but I never shy from a chance to take out the Arbitrator.. I try and lead corp ops every other week too. I rarely fly solo, mostly because I like playing the game with other people.

The only thing I haven’t done yet is related to exploring. It never interested me, and doubt it ever will.

I’m not afraid to speak up and say what’s on everyone's mind. I’m not intimidated by anyone and I think that what’s right and in the best interest of the game and the player base is what is most important. I don’t believe that one person or group is more important than another, but I also believe that the game should not be modified because someone has found a way to effectively excel at the game.

The industrial aspects are one thing that makes this great, but it could be as robust and as engaging as the market aspect is. I am a proponent for making resource gathering and crafting more complex and believe that it should be as difficult to perform the act of building a Titan as it is to gather the ISK to buy one.

There are other aspects of the game that the risk/reward balance is inequitable also. Super ratting is awesome, but there is not enough risk for the reward. Rorqual mining is very profitable, but compared to the value to income ratio of a procurer it is imbalanced.

I love Eve and I believe the player base loves the complexity of this game. The learning curve is very high in Eve, but for established players there is little left to challenge us outside of resource/loot gathering. Let’s keep pushing our limits!

Campaign Post

You read that right.

Every player wants a deeper experience in the game. It is my goal to encourage that to become a reality. I want to work towards making all aspects of Eve more challenging and more rewarding. PVE players want more content. Industrial players want more complexity and more options. PVP players want to be able to expand their fitting prowess. Let's work to expand the sandbox.

1. Lets make the higher tier industrial aspects of the game more complex.

2. Increase the risk in PVE. Dread anoms, titan anoms. Make it a challenge.

3. Bring proper equity to the mining ships. 14B ISK ships should be bringing in the same ratio of ore that a 25M ISK ship does.

Lets talk about what you want Eve to become for you, and get to work making it a reality.
