Hello Capsuleers,
I first started playing eve 5 years ago. I am currently member of Mortis Angelus a Member of the Kadeshi Allaince. I am one of the many FC's in The Kadeshi Allaince. My main focus in eve is the combat PVP element. Even thou I focus my time in mostly combat, I have experience in the industry and PVE elements of New Eden. My first year in New Eden, I spent it as any new player does, trying to find my niche. What is this game? What can I do? I want to fly a ship, but for what? Killing other NPC's and other players? I quickly found myself drawn towards the combat mechanics of EVE. A corporation named Stark Industries reached out to me on the recruitment channel. I made my way to their home system only to find out it was a worm hole corporation. I never made it into the worm hole, has pirates took out me out in my catalyst. I will never forget that day because as a new player, the effort it took to fit that new ship and train for those skills was only a couple of hours, but never have I spent this much time to complete one endeavor. Today I look back at that day, and see how that effects every new and current eve player.
In those 5 years I have experience many successes and utter failures that have made me the eve player I am today. I have been in alliances that have crash down to nothing in null sec, I have been in industry corporations where small coalitions existed and the relationships have had a major impact on the course of their future. I have grinded those level 4-5 missions in highsec looking for that something but never finding them after hours spent. So you ask yourself why I bring up successes and failures in eve? When I look at a dictionary and look up the definition of a sand box in the virtual world, I see a picture of Eve online next to that word. The Sand Box knows no boundaries and can eat you alive or bring you the adrenaline rush you want out of your gaming experience.
Being apart of the different elements New Eden has to offer, I have discovered several different player populations with many different outlooks on the way Eve online is played. Over the past 5 years of meeting hundreds of new people and understanding the way they play the game, how they would like the game to be played and ideas for what could make our society better or worse, it dawned on me, how do we get this information to the developers. CSM is a great tool to be the voice for our player population. I want to be one of our players voices and present these ideas to our developers. I want to hear your voices, share our ideas and bring back that communication from the developers group to you.
So the big question, why vote for me?
This will be my first year running for CSM. Actually this will be my first time running for any campaign. What I lack in position that requires a vote from the population and being a voice for our society, I can promise my door will always be open. I will give 110% to make sure your voice is heard. I will apply my knowledge and your knowledge to communicate the best interest for our society in New Eden.
