Hi! My name is Annie Wasserman, and I am a grade 10 student at The York School. Throughout my life I have struggled with GAD, leading to every situation I encounter is a little more challenging than it should be. For my personal project, I wanted to explore my identity, specifically how it's been affected by GAD.
The York School community was privileged to hear from Dr. Lisa Damour today who challenged us to rethink how we frame stress and anxiety in young people’s lives and gave sage advice to both our parents and senior school students on emotionally navigating through the pandemic.
