Stu:
This weekend, I went to Québec to celebrate Thanksgiving. My family rented a cottage on the St. Lawrence River and spent the weekend going on beach walks and seeing friends! The town we stayed in was about a 12-hour drive from Toronto, so it was a great opportunity to disconnect and take a break from school. To me, Thanksgiving is about relaxing and spending time with family and friends.
I hope you all had great weekends!
Sarah:
This weekend, I spent time getting caught up on all my school work, including working on 3 IAs! (Those of you in grade 12 will understand). I also enjoyed spending time with my family during Thanksgiving festivities and took the opportunity to sleep in and relax as much as possible. I hope you all had more eventful and exciting long weekends than I did, but if not, don’t forget to take advantage of your time off school to do the things that you love, to get outside and enjoy the beautiful fall season and to recharge your batteries!
Happy belated Thanksgiving!
