Disclaimer!!!
This is not a Super-Iago story. Stop thinking that's all I write you goofs.
The state of our world is something I've always been curious about. And to me, our world isn't just what we see. It's the night sky, and the ground below our feet. My name is — well, you'll figure all that boring stuff out soon enough — after all, I am the narrator of this story.

It is remarkably difficult to convince a highway patrol officer that you weren't speeding, you were simply trying to outrun a werewolf. They tend to — how do I say it — not believe you? Now, it's not like I'm Schizophrenic or Delusional or have PTSD or something. It's just — I see things others don't. It's been like this from even before I came to earth.

--officer, please look behind you--
Chapter 1:
The flashing blue lights of the police cruiser shone in my rearview mirror. I pulled over to the shoulder of the road, staring at my hands which were violently shaking on the steering wheel.
Through the window, I saw the officer step into the nighttime fall breeze, look at my car, and begin walking unhurried toward my door. If only he knew that every second he wasted was a second closer to us both becoming victims.
I rolled down the window as the light hit my face.
"Evening," the officer said, his voice a tired mumble. "License and registration, please." He said, more clearly.
"Officer, please look behind you," I blurted out. "We need to leave. Right now."
He didn't blink. "Sir, I clocked you doing ninety two in a fifty five. License and registration, please." He repeated.
"I was trying to outrun it," I insisted, pointing toward the road behind me. "There's a wolf. A very large wolf, that is."
The officer let out a long sigh, taking the license from my hand. Suddenly, he snapped the beam of his flashlight directly into my eyes, shining it back and forth as if trying to check if I was sane.
"Well, Alan," he said, checking the dates on the registration, while keeping the blinding light right on my face. "According to this, your license is fine." He then mumbled, "That is if you don't lose it in court."
He called me Alan. It felt so strange hearing my Earth name spoken aloud. Especially when my true identity was so different.
"Officer, please," I whispered. "I need to leave."
To him, the highway was empty. The world was just roads and speed limits. But to me? To me it was just a field of endless danger.
"Stay in the vehicle, Mr. Hughes," the officer ordered, turning back towards his cruiser.
The attack was entirely silent. The werewolf didn't use claws or teeth. Instead, the beast simply stared at the officer for a moment. The medical examiner would later call it a sudden, tragic heart attack.
But I saw the truth.
I didn't wait for a ticket that would never come. I slammed my foot onto the gas.
--a word from the author--
I'm not yet sure what I'm going to do with this story… if people think it's good maybe I'll do another? I've never done something that's not supposed to be funny before, so I don't know how this'll turn out. We wait and we see I guess. Stay tuned !
