As assessments start to add up and the amount of stress increases, many of us lose motivation. In order to regain that energy, the Wellbeing committee is proud to present Wednesday morning study sessions. In the stressful and work filled month of November, the committee will be hosting 8 am hour long sessions in reserved classrooms for high school students. The classrooms will be a space which promotes studying with peers and tutors, we will incorporate background study music and snacks. These events will promote group studying, proven to be beneficial for understanding material, staying engaged, and final output. Working together with peers enables group discussions, sharing knowledge and inquiries. Linking back to the theme of motivation, encouragement and social energy are both developed through the process of collaborative working. If you want to better understand a topic, discuss it and elaborate on it, we invite you to Wellbeings study sessions starting in November. More details (including more study dates) will be provided later, good luck studying York!
