Last week, we celebrated our Middle and Senior School Athletes at our first ever “Breakfast of Champions” awards ceremony. We recognized our All-TYS and major awards. Huge thanks to our coaches and all who support our next level programme. Not to mention, good luck to our athletes as they head into playoffs and championships for Spring Season sports.
‘Daily Celebrations’ are part of Gladiator Culture. Our Spring Season has begun with our Track and Field, Badminton, Ultimate Frisbee, Tennis, Soccer and Co-Ed Volleyball teams are already competing. On top of these celebrations, we want to recognize some amazing accomplishments of our athletes who play sports outside of The York School.
Wow, what a term! All of our athletics teams are participating in Season Ending Festivals or Playoffs. From February 27 to March 3, we are hosting four season ending championships. Good luck to all our athletes over the next two weeks. Special shout out to Maya C.C, Alex M and Ben M from York's Alpine Ski team who will be representing us at OFSAA!
From Friday Night Lights to a 3v3 tournament that you can participate in to support the CAS project of fellow students, there is a lot of basketball coming up! Here you can find all the information about these events and opportunities that will be happening from February into March.
