Dear whoever is reading this, are you ok like do you need help why do you keep coming back??????
About a week ago I went to a restaurant and the staff was so weird. Our waitress was probably the most normal but that's only because she DIDN'T DO ANYTHING like literally i think i saw her once when she took our order… ????? Then there was an older guy that was at the host's stand but also immediately after we got our food my dad flagged him down to ask for more salt and the guy was like “does it not have salt or do you need more salt?” Everyone was confused and we still don't know what he meant. The the last guy, who filled up our water glasses, he covered my phone with his hand which was next to my cup, and then said “i cover ur phone so i dont spill water on it cuz if i do then you wont wanna be my friend and then I will have to move to a city that I don't like my job at” What? Huh? Really weird restaurant. The food wasn't even that good.
It recently came to my attention that I don't know how to run. Like il be in gym class or at home or in dance class or smth and whenever i run someone will go “brooklyn why are you running like that, thats so weird” so then when i ask them what im doing wrong theyre like “idk ur just doing it wrong” like BRO. I CANNOT FIX MY RUN IF I DON'T KNOW WHAT I'M DOING WRONG.
I once went to starbucks and ordered an Iced mocha with light ice and no whip. Pretty standard for me. Anyway I wait for my drink for like 15 minutes and it just never comes so I ask one of the baristas if they're making it yet. This guy points to an unclaimed drink. It was a FRAPPUCINO for CARLY and asks if it's mine. When I tell him no, it's not my name and not my order, he INSISTS that it's mine and they got my name wrong, anyway we go back and forth a bit before he makes my drink but doesnt give me light ice which I PAID FOR. this guy was wearing cargo shorts so i should have expected this but whatever I got my coffee in the end.
A friend just told me that some people put cheddar cheese on apple pie. That is weird. Please don't do that. Please.
I went to Florida for November break and I flew alone so it was just me and my grandparents. We ate mac and cheese EVERYDAY and I REALLY love mac and cheese.
Also on this trip, I found a different version of kanoodle, and as you may know, I'm a little bit addicted to kanoodle, a shape puzzle game. Anyway I was VERY excited.
Why is the clock app snooze on alarms NINE MINUTES. Wouldn't ten make more sense? Like really i cant think of anything other than this is stupid.
So I'm a competitive dancer and dance competition scoring is really weird. Every competition has their own system but it usually goes something like this. From worst to best
Silver
Gold
High Gold
Emerald
Platinum
Diamond
Purple Diamond.
I'm not even making this up. There's no rhyme or reason to it. And gold and silver don’t actually exist! They're just there to make the high gold people feel better. THEY DONT MAKE GOLD AND SILVER AWARDS.
Over November break, I went to visit my grandparents in Florida unaccompanied. It was my first time but I wasn't too worried because I fly all the time. On my flight there, and in the terminals, I had NO privacy. I had someone with me at all times. I could get food, or water, or use the bathroom. It was a nightmare. Like yeah safety and whatever but still, I really needed to pee. Then on my flight back we got to the check-in counter and the lady working basically refused to give us the documents that say I'm unaccompanied, claiming they don't do that. Me and my grandma didn't feel like fighting anymore so I just went through the terminal alone (it's a very small terminal). I get to my seat, everything's normal. When we land though, the flight attendants go on the announcement thing and were like “can brooklyn schwartz make herself known as she deboards” so I do, and they tell me that they thought the lost the unaccompanied minor because they didn't have that document from the check-in lady! And because of this I ALSO couldn't go through customs. It was a whole thing but I did eventually leave the airport.
