the stand's annual fall writing contest

CALLING ALL WRITERS!  The Stand is launching its annual fall writing contest, with a twist... 

This year, instead of our usual Halloween writing contest, we will be broadening the scope of submissions to include all work that is inspired by fall. Spooky, scary and creepy Halloween tales are still welcome, but if you want to write a story about the perfect, cozy autumn day, it will also be accepted!

Submissions should be sent to thestand@yorkschool.com by November 13. All participants will have the chance to be recognized under categories including "funniest", "spookiest" and "most heartwarming" entry. The overall winner of best story will have the chance to win a very special mystery prize.
