german expressionist inspired compositions

Students in grade 10 visual arts studied artworks by German Expressionist artists as inspiration for designing, carving, printing and colouring their German Expressionist inspired prints. The artworks are characterized by abstraction, distortion and exaggeration which is used to achieve symbolic representations of specific emotional human experiences. 

The Stand Team would also like to say a huge thank you to Ms. Balomenos for giving us access to her student's work throughout the year and for allowing us the privilege of sharing so many creations with our school community. We're so happy to have been able to share the amazing work of the visual arts students on The Stand throughout the year and will continue to do so in the future with your much appreciated guidance, Ms. B!
