Build a snow fort:
Despite having none of the main ingredients for a snow fort, hopefully later in the break Toronto will receive slightly more snowfall! Creating a snow fort is extra fun when made with friends or family. (Unless you’re feeling ambitious and want to make your own snow palace of course. In which case I’m not stopping you!)
Hang out with friends:
Sometimes the winter break can be incredibly lonely and boring, since you wouldn’t be used to being away from your friends all day. To decrease your isolation over the break, make plans with your friends beforehand!
Bake:
Winter break can feel dull when you’re stuck at home with nothing to do and no one to see. A great way to beat the boredness it to bake your sorrows away! Whether its cakes, brownies, bread or muffins you’re making, I guarantee that no matter what, it’s a great way to be productive and, at the same time, make something delicious!
Watch cartoons:
During this winter break, maybe you could take some time to revisit your favourite cartoon! Cartoons can be a relaxing and fun way to rewind and there’s something for every mood! You could even watch with your friends to make it more social, or just simply enjoy a solo marathon! It’s a simple way to pass the time and add some fun to the winter break.
