It was like a horror show, something waiting to jump out at me
Every time I took a step, I could hear every thump of my boots hitting the floor
It was my worst nightmare but my best dream at the same time
So surreal and different
The wind sang a song as it whirled around me picking up everything in its way
The quiet was unreal, and the stillness was out of a ghost town
The darkness was disturbing like I had had my eyes closed my whole life
The fog was a misty white as it blinded my eyes
It was very solemn, but peaceful at the same time
As I entered my house, I could hear the crackle as I stepped on a leaf, and as I opened the door I hear creak, and then, BOOM!
It was a deafening silence
All I wanted to do was wake up from the movie inside my head, haunting me every night, killing me in my sleep
This bad dream was too much but
It was all gone like a wave in the ocean that would never come back.
