Even though March Break is around the corner, there are still lots of things going on within York before we head off for a well-deserved two week hiatus from school. From citizenship initiatives, to service opportunities and complex math contests from the University of Waterloo, you won't want to miss this!
In honour of the upcoming International Women's Day on March 8th Community Service Committee we will be having a menstrual product drive to earn House points! Students can bring in packages of pads, tampons, menstrual cups and other period products from Monday, Feb 27th until Thursday, March 9th. Unfortunately we cannot accept any individual products - it must be packaged. All donations go to the Womens’ Habitat shelter. Students and staff can drop off the items in your house boxes located around the school.
