We are incredibly fortunate to be welcoming Dr. Lisa Damour to speak to our parents and our Senior School students on Thursday January 28th.
"Dr. Lisa Damour writes the monthly Adolescence column for the New York Times, co-hosts the Ask Lisa podcast, serves as a regular contributor to CBS News, and works in collaboration with UNICEF. Dr. Damour graduated with honors from Yale University and worked for the Yale Child Study Center before earning her doctorate in Clinical Psychology at the University of Michigan. She has been a fellow at Yale’s Edward Zigler Center in Child Development and Social Policy and the University of Michigan’s Power Foundation. She and her husband are the proud parents of two daughters."
The morning of the 28th will be asynchronous, we will be meeting as advisor groups first and then moving into the session. All Senior students are expected to attend. A link will be shared with you next week. It will begin at 10:30 and end at 11:30 am. Lunch will end at the same time at 12:15 pm.
There are a couple of things I need to ask of you in advance of the session. Please watch the attached video message from Dr. Damour and fill out the two pre questions on the form provided below. This should take just a couple of minutes of your time. She has also recommended a couple of articles that she has written for the New York Times, I have included these as well if you are interested.
