Personal Project: Annie Wasserman

Hi! My name is Annie Wasserman, and I am a grade 10 student at The York School. Throughout my life I have struggled with GAD, leading to every situation I encounter is a little more challenging than it should be. For my personal project, I wanted to explore my identity, specifically how it's been affected by GAD. I created a series of 8 poems/self-portrait duos and put them on a website in order to explore my identity in a creative way, and I wanted to share it with you. I explain this on the website, but the goal of sharing these isn't to gain sympathy, but to show people who aren't affected by mental health challenges how it can feel, and to show people who are affected that they're not alone.
