4 pork chops
3 cloves garlic, minced
4 tbsp butter, divided
Salt and pepper to taste
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
4 large potatoes, thinly sliced
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1 cup heavy cream
Instructions:
Prepare pork chops: Season pork chops with salt and pepper. Rub minced garlic onto both sides.
Cook pork chops: In a large skillet, heat 2 tbsp butter over medium-high heat. Cook pork chops until browned and cooked through, about 4-5 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
Preheat oven: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
Prepare potatoes: In a baking dish, layer thinly sliced potatoes. Pour heavy cream over the potatoes and top with shredded mozzarella cheese and grated Parmesan cheese.
Bake: Dot the top with remaining butter and bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender and the top is golden brown.
Serve: Serve pork chops with cheesy gratin potatoes.
