1 cup apple cider vinegar
1 cup vegetable oil
1 cup red wine, Burgundy or Chianti
2 cups water
2 sliced lemons
1 sliced onion
2 cloves garlic
1 tablespoon chili powder
1 tablespoon freshly ground black pepper
1 teaspoon kosher salt or sea salt
In saucepan, bring all ingredients to a boil. Remove from heat and use to mop brisket.
