Instructions
Prepare the Mac ‘n’ Cheese Filling:
In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Stir in the flour and cook for about 1 minute to create a roux.
Gradually add milk, stirring continuously until the mixture thickens.
Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese until melted, then add the cooked macaroni, crumbled bacon, and paprika. Mix well and set aside.
Make the Burger Patties:
In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix gently until well incorporated.
Divide the mixture into 8 equal portions and shape each portion into a thin patty.
Stuff the Burgers:
Place a generous spoonful of the mac ‘n’ cheese mixture in the center of 4 patties.
Top with the remaining 4 patties and press the edges tightly to seal the stuffing inside.
Cook the Burgers:
Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat.
Cook the stuffed burgers for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness.
Assemble and Serve:
Allow the burgers to rest for a few minutes after cooking. Serve on buns with your choice of toppings.
