3 cups frozen shredded hash browns, thawed
1/3 cup butter, melted
1 cup diced ham or sausage
1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
1/4 cup diced green pepper or red
2 eggs
1/2 cup milk
Salt and pepper
Hot sauce (optional)
Preparation
Press hash browns between paper towels to remove excess moisture. Press into bottom and up sides of 9 inch pie plate. Drizzle with butter. Bake at 425 for 25 to 30 minutes. Reduce heat to 350. Sprinkle meat, pepper and cheese over hash browns. Beat eggs, milk, salt, pepper and hot sauce and pour over all. Bake 25 to 30 minutes.
