Joe has shown ownership for his learning in class: after completing a project about how to improve Alpena -- Joe took his project about improving law enforcement into the professional world. He met with Alpena's police chief to discuss his ideas and learn more about efforts to improve local law enforcement. He did this without prompting and took time out of his day to engage with our community outside of school to enhance his learning in American Government.

Students need a fully charged school Chromebook.
No phones, smart watches allowed.
Students will be dismissed to return to their normal schedule. The expectation is students stay the whole day.

If you believe that you are receiving a scholarship, remember to mark your calendars for the evening of May 16, Senior Awards Night at 7 p.m. Eligible seniors will receive an invitation in the mail to this event.
