Testing Corner
Each link below has a practice PSAT or SAT English and Math question. These questions do change each week. Test your skills and knowledge by clicking on the link. Use the calculator @ www.desmos.com/practice to solve the math problems.
Students
Personal laptops and loaner Chromebooks WILL NOT WORK for Spring state testing.
Only school assigned Chromebooks will work with the Bluebook (PSAT/SAT).
If you have a loaner, check with Mr. Whitscell in the Wildcat Den on what to do to get your Chromebook back!
Counseling Corner:
Students who select Dual Enrollment on their schedule for next year: You will need to request an appointment for after spring break with your counselor to select the specific class(es).
Students who select Online on their schedule for next year: Circle 'Virtual Learning' on your course request sheet and choose the same in synergy. On your sheet, write what class you are hoping to have online. You will then get information about an online form and due date for those before this year ends.
SENIORS: Alpena Community College has extended their deadline to appy for scholarships through ACC due to the delays in FAFSA processing at the government level. The ACC Foundation offers more than 235 scholarships. Apply today at https://discover.alpenacc.edu/admissions/future_students/scholarships.php!! Please let your counselor know if you have questions regarding scholarships, since this is the time to apply!

The activities are mainly sponsored through the Alpena Youth and Recreation Millage and suppported by local businesses. The parents are the springboard to making all of these events a success. You can help with all of them or pick and choose the event that works best for you.
We meet monthly on the first Monday of the month at 6pm in the Wildcat Den (formerly the Media Center).

CONGRATULATIONS to Noah Ulch!
Noah was the winner of a $200 Amazon gift card compliments of Career & Technical Education. The prize drawing was for students who had attended the CTE & Industry Expo that was held the evening of Tuesday, Feb. 27.
Thank you to everyone who made the Expo a great success!
We ended National CTE Month with a GRAND SLAM, hosting over 400 students, families, community members, and industry personnel at the Expo.
