Counseling Corner:
April is designated National Sexual Assault Awareness Month. Hope Shores Alliance will be in the Commons with literature on 4/16 to help our students gain awareness of this important topic. Over half of women and almost 1 in 3 men have experienced sexual violence involving physical contact during their lifetimes. Teal is the official color of SAAM.
AHS Leadership Class is planning a Pre-Prom Assembly with a speaker that will target 11th & 12th graders on Sexual Assault Awareness often linked to Prom.
SENIORS- Important Time Sensitive Meeting
Hope you had a wonderful spring break! Savor each day until the end of the year, as it will go by so quickly.
ACC does not have classes on Tuesday, so your Early College and Dual Enrollment classes will NOT be an issue. I will post the information on FB and have emailed to you all.
Your Senior Meeting with Jostens will take place next Tuesday April, 2nd @ 9:30.m. in the auditorium. It's VERY important that you be there! We know your schedules are hectic, but please do your best to be present. Mr. Bourdage will deliver some important information and you will receive your cap and gown and any graduation items you may have ordered at that time.
If you are unable to attend the meeting, all orders will be in the Main Office (after the meeting) for you to pick up at another time.
Please reach out to us if you have any questions or concerns.
Reminder - seniors do not report to school next Wednesday, April 10th or the 11th. You have an opportunity to do ACC Freshmen Orientation at 11am via link, work on scholarships and FAFS, do a college visit, or go to your college of choice and work out housing, etc. Be productive and use the time wisely.
We can't wait to see you on Tuesday!
