EMPOWERING 21ST CENTURY GRADUATES
Congratulations on your selection Lindsey
Lindsey Rondeau
As we move into a year where there are definitely struggles, the AHS Community see glimmers of good and students reacting positively. I see Lindsey daily, and she smiles behind her mask and consciously pulls it up when I point to her. We met on Wednesday and had a great conversation about masking and the difficulties for her, and she assured me she would continue to try as difficult as it is understanding the reasoning; she was super respectful and insightful. Later in the week, I had one of our teachers who was clearly frustrated and addressed his class on the misuse of masks in his room. Lindsey approached him at the end of the hour and told him she was sorry and admitted to being one who sometimes didn't wear her mask properly. She ended the conversation with "I'm sorry, you don't deserve this."
I find this interaction and the discussion that she and I had as a prime example of a CONTRIBUTOR-- Citizenship: "Recognizing the importance of their role in our connected world." Lindsey, you are great example of the culture we want to consume AHS. Thanks for doing your part at making "Us" better.
