EMPOWERING 21ST CENTURY GRADUATES
Congratulations on your selection Logan!
Logan DenBleyker
Contributor (Citizenship, Involvement, Community Oriented) represents the student that Logan exemplifies. When asked to step up and share his talents at the Veteran's Day Event, he jumped at the chance to play Taps as the Honor Guard lowered the old flag and raised the new flag donated by the Exchange Club of Alpena. We want more students to express their talents by giving back when called upon as Logan did on Thursday. He is an example of the type of student that we honor today as the Wildcat Way pick of the week. Thank you, Logan, for making Veteran's Day extra special with your playing of Taps!
Happy Veteran's Day to all of our veterans!
We had the privilege of having The Honor Guard raise our new flag presented by The Exchange Club of Alpena President, Raymond Reynolds. Logan DenBleyker joined in by playing Taps as the flag was lowered. Retired APS teacher, Mr. Bill Romstadt, addressed students about what it means to be a veteran. Thank you all for your service, Mr. Romstadt, and for sharing your story with our students!

"LGBTQ+ youth who report having at least one accepting adult in their lives were 40% less likely to report a suicide attempt in the past year." Do not underestimate the importance of unconditional love and support for your student! Source: www.TheTrevorProject.org
