The AHS Leadership Class is targeting dating violence and sexual assault awareness by focusing on empowering survivors and what the process looks like in the aftermath of these tragedies. We have experts from around Alpena speaking from a Panel Platform at The Pre-Prom Assembly on May 8th during Advisory.
Students in the 11th and 12 Grades have been emailed a Google Form to submit questions for the panel.
If you want to Opt Out, please submit your name through this Google form.
AHS Counselors and local professionals will be on hand after the assembly to assist students or answer any questions.

Career & Technical Education seniors, from Alpena & Alcona, participated in National Signing Day on April 18th at Alpena Community College. National Signing Day, through the National Coalition of Certification Centers, is a nationally recognized day that celebrates students who are choosing to continue their technical education at the post-secondary level. This is AHS's 2nd year participating in Signing Day in partnership with ACC. We celebrated the decision of 21 seniors as they signed their letters of intent to continue their education in a variety of technical fields at ACC starting in the Fall of 2024.
