RESOLUTION NO. 15-08
A RESOLUTION DECLARING SURPLUS ITEMS AND AUTHORIZING THE SALE OR DISPOSAL OF ITEMS BY THE CITY OF SODAVILLE
WHEREAS, the City of Sodaville (“City”) is the owner of certain items more particularly described as items remaining on property located at the corner of Sodaville Road and Main Street that includes but is not limited to wood, a wooden boat, commercial refrigerator and other miscellaneous items; and
WHEREAS, the City of Sodaville has determined that no public purpose would be furthered by City retaining ownership the aforementioned items to be sold or disposed of; and
WHEREAS, the City, has determined that the above-described sale of property, that the City complies with the provisions of ORS 79A.280; and
WHEREAS, the City of Sodaville Council has determined it is in the public interest of the City to sell or dispose of the items; and
WHEREAS, the City of Sodaville City Council desires to authorize the Mayor or her designee to undertake all tasks necessary in connection with completing the sale or disposal without limitation, executing agreements and any other documents necessary to carry out the intent of this Resolution.
Now therefore, the City Council of the City of Sodaville resolves as follows:
SECTION 1.
The items remaining on the property located at the corner of Sodaville Road and Main Street are hereby declared surplus property.
SECTION 2.
That the Mayor or her designee is authorized to execute the sale or disposal.
SECTION 3.
The Mayor or her designee is authorized to undertake all other tasks and execute all other agreements and documents necessary to further the sale or disposal.
