ORDINANCE No. 49
ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE PUBLICATION OF NOTICES AND OTHER MATTERS REQUIRED TO BE PUBLISHED BY THE CITY OF SODAVILLE, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
THE CITY OF SODAVILLE, OREGON ORDAINS AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1.
All notices and other matters required by the ordinances or Charter of the City of Sodaville and the State Law to be published in the city's official newspaper may be published in any newspaper printed and in general circulation in the City of Sodaville, Oregon and it shall be unnecessary that such notices or other matters shall be published in a newspaper officially designated as the city's official newspaper.
Section 2. Emergency Clause.
Inasmuch as the provisions of this ordinance are necessary for the immediate preservation of the peace, safety, good order and public welfare of the citizens and inhabitants of the City of Sodaville, Oregon, an emergency is hereby declared to exist and this ordinance shall be in full force and effect immediately upon its passage by the City Council and its approval by the Mayor of the City of Sodaville, Oregon.
