RESOLUTION NO. 99-1

RESOLUTION DESIGNATING AN ENFORCEMENT OFFICER FOR THE PURPOSE OF ENFORCING THE CITY OF SODAVILLE ZONING ORDINANCE AND PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT ORDINANCE

WHEREAS, the City of Sodaville has adopted Ordinance No. 98-5, the City of Sodaville Enforcement Ordinance, and

WHEREAS, the Enforcement Ordinance sets procedures for the enforcement of certain Sodaville ordinances, and

WHEREAS, the Enforcement Ordinance permits the City Council to designate one or more persons as Enforcement Officers to implement the provisions of this ordinance, and

WHEREAS, two City ordinances, Ordinance No. 43, the City of Sodaville Zoning Ordinance, and Ordinance No. 45, the City of Sodaville Planned Unit Development Ordinance, both contain a penalty clause whereby a violation of the ordinance shall be enforced pursuant to the City of Sodaville Enforcement Ordinance, and

WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Sodaville is contemplating the use of the Enforcement Ordinance as the basis for enforcing other city ordinances,

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED THAT:

    1. The City Council of the City of Sodaville hereby designates City Recorder Penny Seward as the Enforcement Officer to assume the responsibility for enforcing the provisions of Ordinance No. 43, the City of Sodaville Zoning Ordinance, and Ordinance No. 45, the City of Sodaville Planned Unit Development Ordinance.

    2. The responsibilities of the Enforcement Officer shall be as outlined in the City of Sodaville Enforcement Ordinance, No. 98-5.
