City Recorder's Message
2022-2023 City Budget
May is Budget Month! The City Budget Committee is scheduled to meet on May 25th at 6:00PM. The City’s fiscal year extends from July 1-June 30 of the following year. As the City’s Budget Officer, I write the first proposed Budget. This proposal is reviewed by the Budget Committee, which consists of all 5 Council members and 5 members of the public. Once the Budget Committee approves the Budget, the City Council will adopt it in June. Copies of the Budget will be available online and in City Hall prior to the meeting.
Digitizing Ordinances
City Ordinances and other important documents are being compiled on a new, easy-to-use website accessible here: https://sites.google.com/view/sodavillecityhall/.Original copies remain in City Hall for the public to review. This is the start of a longterm goal to organize City Ordinances and ensure that they are in compliance with applicable law.
In the mean time, I continue to welcome your questions and concerns!
