80-02 Annexation Amendments
ORDINANCE 80-2
AN ORDINANCE CORRECTING THE LEGAL DESCRIPTION OF ORDINANCES 54 AND 55 TO COINCIDE WITH THE ANNEXATION AS INTENDED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SODAVILLE AS EXPRESSED IN ACCOMPANYING MAPS.
THE CITY OF SODAVILLE ORDAINS AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1.
Delete the last clause of section 2 of ordinance 54, beginning with the phrase, "including all of Sodaville Road..."
Section 2.
Amend location 2 of ordinance 55 to read as follows: Beginning at the Northwest corner of Lot 7 of Ramac Acres in Section 36 of T. 12 S., R. 2W. of the Will. Mer., Linn County, Oregon, and running thence S. 88° 35' E. 396.22 feet to the present City of Sodaville Boundary: thence N. 00° 10' 20"E. 8511.48 feet; thence N. 89° 39' 18" W. 379.26 feet to the Northwest corner of that parcel of land conveyed to Ace and Geraldine Baker; thence S. 01° 32' 27" E. 854.85 feet to the point of beginning; including that portion of Vine Street from the point of beginning running Easterly 396 feet, more or less, to the current City of Sodaville Boundary.
Section 3.
WHEREAS, The City of Sodaville is in the process of engineering a water system to which petitioners wished to connect, and water service can only be provided to properties within the City, now, therefore,
An emergency is hereby declared to exist and this ordinance shall immediately go into force and effect upon its adoption and approval.
