ORDINANCE 90-1

AN ORDINANCE TO REGULATE SPEED ON WASHINGTON AND COTTAGE STREETS.

THE CITY OF SODAVILLE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:

Section 1.

That petition by 97% of property owners adjacent to Washington and Cottage Streets, requesting a 15 mile an hour speed on these named streets be granted and enforced.

Section 2.

That (4) street signs (18 x 24) be purchased and placed:

a. Commencing at the entrance to Washington Street at Cottage and at Main, saying 15 mph & children playing.

b. Commencing at the entrance to Cottage St at Sodaville Road and at Alder Street, saying 15 mph.

Section 3.

An emergency is hereby declared to exist and this ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its passage by the City Council.
