(53-C) A Bill for an ordinance to be designated as

ORDINANCE No. 3

Repealing certain ordinances of the City of Sodaville, enacted under the Charter of 1921 and/or prior authority.

The City of Sodaville ordains as follows:

Section 1.

All ordinances of the City of Sodaville, enacted under the Charter of 19221 and/or prior authority, duly recorded in a certain volume entitled, “Book of Ordinances,” specifically numbered and titled as follows.

Ordinance No. 1. Pertaining to town elections and organization.

Ordinance No. 2. Pertaining to the meeting of the Trustees, the term of office of the town officials, and the powers of the council.

Ordinance No. 3. Pertaining to the qualifications and duties of the Town Recorder.

Ordinance No. 4. Pertaining to the qualifications and Duties of the Town Marshal.

Ordinance No. 5. Relating to the qualifications and duties of the Town Treasurer.

Ordinance No. 6. Relating to the assessment, levy, and collection of taxes; the granting of licenses and collection of moneys therefor; the imposing of fines and collection thereof.

Ordinance No. 7. Relating to the authority of town officers, and miscellaneous laws.

Ordinance No. 8. Pertaining to the letting of contracts by the town.

Ordinance No. 9. Pertaining to the material to be used and the manner of constructing side and crosswalks.

Ordinance No. 10. Relating to quarantine.

Ordinance No. 11. Pertaining to the fees of town officers.

Ordinance No. 12. Pertaining to hogs running at large.

Ordinance No. 13. Relating to the removal of dead animals from the town.

Ordinance No. 14. Pertaining to hitching horses to awnings or shade tree%s. [sic]

Ordinance No. 16. Pertaining to the use of profane languages and the destroying of public notices.

Ordinance No. 17. Relating to hitching horses at or near the water trough on west side of Block 8.

Ordinance No. 18. Relating to theprotection [sic] of the spring and the protection of the peace.

Ordinance No. 19. Regulating the use of water by the public, and the sale thereof for profit.

Ordinance No. 20. Licensing the sale of candies, nuts and cigars.

Ordinance No. 21. Preventing horses, mares, mules, jacks or jennets from running at large in town.

Ordinance No. 25. Pertaining to obstructing sidewalks, streets, and alleys.

Ordinance No. 26. Relating to vaults, privies and cess pools.

Ordinance No. 27. Relating to the improvement of streets and alleys.

Ordinance No. 28. For the protection of the spring building.

Ordinance No. 29. Amending Ordinance No. 6, relating to licensing of theatres, etc.

Ordinance No. 30 and 33. Relating to curfew.

Ordinance No. 31. Pertaining to worthless animals running at large in the Town of Sodaville.

Ordinance No. 32. Pertaining to cows running at large in the Town of Sodaville during certain hours of the day during certain months.

Ordinance No. 34. Prohibiting dance houses.

Ordinance No. 35. Pertaining to the removal of moss from roofs of buildings.

Ordinance No. 36. An ordinance to repeal Ordinance No.34.

Ordinance No. 37. Pertaining to the condemning of sidewalks, crossings, and other things by the Board of Trustees.

Ordinance No. 38. Amending Ordinance No. 32, relating to the running at large of cattle and other livestock.

Ordinance No. 39. Amending Ordinance No. 9, Section 1, relating to building of and material used in sidewalks.

are hereby repealed.

Section 2.

An emergency is hereby declared to exist, and this ordinance shall take effect and be in full force immediately upon its passage by the Council and approval by the Mayor.
