Mayor's Message

Happy June Sodaville: 😎

I want to start by thanking the volunteer's for the budget committee, Chair person elect Faith Pires, Tammi Lewis, Timothy Bartley and The Honorable Lori L. McAllen.. Thank you so much for taking the time to help with the budget.

I want everyone to know we are working very hard to solve the water shortcoming's in Sodaville, exploring every avenue and working hard to get Government monies to fund whatever resource we can that will help get us more water. With that being said please try to conserve water anywhere you can and hopefully we can resolve the water issue within the next couple of years or sooner.

Has anyone noticed the increased police patrols in Sodaville? We have a very small city and a lot of the speeders are just passing through our town, for safety of the citizens in Sodaville we are trying to get everyone to obey the 25 mph speed limit.

On another note, soon we will be asking for volunteers to help put up the fence around the basketball court so we can finally call the park finished.

Thank you Sodaville for allowing me to be your Mayor.

Stay safe and happy,

Mayor Brian Lewis 🙂

Public Work Director's Message

As those that have been here a while know, as summer progresses the city’s water production lacks in keeping with demand. When this happens we have to pay Lebanon and a trucking company to bring us supplemental water. Then we have to enact water restrictions, which increases the cost of water for most everyone. Please be conscientious of your water use and waste. The city council has chosen to no longer offer forgiveness to those with broken pipes nor large leaks. This is mainly in part to the early detection with the new metering system, as well as the high cost of trucking in water. No we are not in water restrictions YET, but the potential is near.
