No 15 Street Vacation
55-A--A Bill for an Ordinance to be designated as
ORDINANCE NO. 15
Recognizing as truth and verity certain representations made by freeholders of Blocks 17 and 18, Summers Addition to the town of Sodaville, petitioning for vacation of that part of Rock Street from the east line of Alder street to the east city boundary line; granting prayer of petitioners; and declaring an emergency.
The City of Sodaville ordains as follows:
Section 1.
The truth and verity of certain representations made in petitions praying vacation of certain areas of Rock Street, which petitions have been presented, considered and filed with the City Recorder, is by this section affirmed.
Section 2.
The prayer of the petitioners is hereby granted, and that portion of Rock Street extending from the east line of Alder Street to the east city boundary line, is declared vacated, and title to the said vacated premises attach to the lots and lands bordering thereon as the interest and title of the petitioners appear, to have and to hold as by law provided.
Section 3.
Instant owners of record abutting lots and lands are by this section granted rights of occupation for an legal purposes which any suit the needs or convenience of the parties concerned.
Section 4.
An emergency is declared to exist and this ordinance shall take effect and be in full force immediately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor, in accordance with the provisions of Sections 35 and 36, Chapter VIII of the municipal Charter of Sodaville.
