RESOLUTION #04-06

RESOLUTION APPROVING THE LEBANON FIRE DISTRICT FIRE PREVENTION CODE ORDINANCE 01-04

Whereas, the State of Oregon has adopted a new State Fire Code based on the 2003 International Fire Code with Oregon amendments, and

Whereas, the new code is effective October 1, 2004, and

Whereas, the Lebanon Fire District Board of Directors does have authority to adopt the State Fire Code with local amendments through ORS 478.910, and

Whereas, in order for the Code to apply within the City, it must be approved by the City Council by resolution, per ORS 478.924, and

Whereas, the proposed fire code ordinance is attached as "Exhibit A" [sic]

Now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Sodaville hereby approves the adoption of the Oregon FIre Code with Lebanon Fire District amendments.
