Happy Women’s History Month, Sodaville!

The Council approved changes to the City’s water rates in February. Beginning in April, the base rate for water bills will be $47, with additional changes in rates approved. Water rates can be viewed on the City’s ordinance website:

Comcast installed a WiFi hotspot at the park that is free to use for all Xfinity customers. Just select “Xfinity” from the list of available networks, and you will be taken to an online portal to sign in to your Comcast account.

Public Works Update

With spring growing season quickly approaching. This is a reminder for residents of Sodaville. It is the residents/owners responsibility to maintain brush/vegetation on your property and adjoining right of ways to no more than ten inches in height. ORDINANCE # 15-03 sec.3-5. ORDINANCE #. 15-03 sec.5-10)c.

March is the time of year when animals begin waking up from hibernation.

UTILITY ASSISTANCE

Sodaville residents who need assistance paying water bills may now receive assistance through Community Services Consortium in Albany. The winter application  season for the general public opened December 1st. Individuals who need urgent utility assistance due to emergencies, including service shutoff, may contact CSC at any time.
