RESOLUTION NO. 03-01
A RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION 02-01 SETTING MUNICIPAL FEES AND UTILITY SERVICE RATES AND CHARGES IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE FEES, RATES AND CHARGES ORDINANCE 02-03
WHEREAS, Resolution 02-01 set municipal fees and utility service charges in accordance with the Fees, Rates, and charges Ordinance No. 02-03; and
WHEREAS, Resolution 02-01 did not take into account the establishment of service charges intended to handle mergencies involving detection and repair of leaks in water supply lines or similar circumstances; and
WHEREAS, a review of Resolution 02-01 resulted in the discovery that one section was in need of revision;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED:
Section 1. Section 4.C.5. Facilities Charges, id amended by adding subsection h., as follows:
Application
h. Emergency repairs to mains and service pipe that result in considerable loss of water.
Fee
To be determined by City Council, based on actual costs of detection and repair, and on the amount of water that was lost.
Section 2. Section 4.C.6. Penalties, subsection a, is amended to read as follows:
Application
a. Penalty for receipt of unauthorized service.
Fee
$ 500.00
Section 3.
This resolution shall go into effect on February 1, 2003, after adoption by the City Council and signature of the mayor.
