13 jan. 2019
Wikipedia (engelsk)
Interfaith dialogue refers to cooperative, constructive, and positive interaction between people of different religious traditions and/or spiritual or humanistic beliefs, at both the individual and institutional levels. Why is interfaith important? Interfaith dialogue provides the glue that nourishes and keeps our society together. As we navigate our diversity, we must learn not to drown or suffocate each other, but instead to swim alongside each other. Interfaith work allows us to deepen our own faith by learning about other faiths. 13. jan. 2019
(Kilde: Open Doors blad. Februar 21)
Oversat til engelsk :
Where is the harmony between China's official Christian religion and the persecuted Christians' Bible and faith? This is creepy.
(Source Open Doors page. February 21):
In February 2020 rules for a religious life were further restricted, so that the authorities now have the last say in terms of rituals, choice of leaders, annual general assemblies, new employments as well as finances. There are even examples of the authorities correcting part of the Bible, which means they rewrite central passages. For instance the record about the woman, who is caught in adultery, - whom JESUS explicitly not condemns in The New Testament- has been "corrected" to that JESUS after her accusers haft left, stones the woman himself, while saying:" I too am a sinner-but if the law only can be executed by human beings, who themselves are without fault, then the law would be dead."
A SCHOCK TO THE YOUTH.
To the youth in China all this is close to being a shock. Persecution is largely unknown to them- it has been something that they have heard the elder christians tell about primarily. But now they all of a sudden experience and feel the persecution on their own bodiesThe whole purpose of tightening the grip on the practice of religion in China is to nationalize and unify the Chinese as much as possible, so that one has, so to speak, peace of mind. This allows the government to look outwards and focus on asserting its influence internationally.
Kind regards Lars Krøgholt og Daniela Skov.
