Letter to Justice Minister Karen Hækkerup and Church Minister Marianne Jelved.
Vicar Jonas Serner-Pedersen has used Daniela Skov and Lars Skov Krøgholt’s social security information to enroll us in the State Church 30. May 2012, without our knowledge and consent. It happened in connection with the cancellation of our membership of the church “Kolding Valgmenighed”. For two years, we have paid the church tax, without knowing it and without wanting it.
For this reason, we have charged Jonas Serner-Pedersen to the police. Middle-and West Jutland Police has written back that the case is closed without being investigated, because there is no assurance that Jonas Serner-Pedersen has committed anything illegal.
Even we are very unsure about our membership at all has been valid, all the while that we both are baptized with a second baptism after our christening.
Our question to the Ministry of Justice is whether it can really be legal to enroll a human being in the State Church, and whether it may have any validity?
Police writes that we can contact them or the Attorney General, if we want to complain. But how can we write to the police when we according to an email from Amnesty's lawyer Claus Juhl have lost our legal rights by a police officer who contacted Daniela and presented her for a police restraining order and following this has not made him known to us. We have paid the church tax in two years without wanting it. We cannot find head and tail in it that the Vicar Jonas Serner-Pedersen may enroll us even against better judgment, for he knew with certainty that we both were baptized in a free church after being christened. We thought that we have freedom of religion in this country. But we have been gagged by Jonas Serner-Pedersen with police help. Can it be true, Justice Minister Karen Haekkerup?
Yours Lars Skov Krøgholt.
