江戸時代から続く極楽寺が廃寺になり、平成に大光明寺となりました。芸能塚は昭和48年(1973)に建てられた、極楽寺の時からあるものです。碑には当時の大手芸能事務所の名前が刻まれています。

Gokurakuji Temple which had been here since the Edo era was abandoned and become Daikomyo-ji in Heisei era. This monument was built in Showa 48 (1973) since the time of Gokurakuji. It is engraved with the name of a major entertainment agency at the time.
