日本有数の「職人の街」である葛飾区には、伝統的な技を継承する沢山の職人の方々がいます。葛飾区伝統産業館は、「葛飾区伝統産業職人会」の有志の方々によって運営されている施設で、職人の方々が作った伝統工芸品やアクセサリーを展示・販売しています。館内の店番は職人さんが交代でやっているので、職人さんと直接お話する機会があります。

Katsushika is one of the leading "craftsperson's towns" in Japan where many craftspersons live who inherit traditional techniques. Museum for Katsushika Traditional Industries is operated by volunteers from the Katsushika Traditional Industry Craftspersons Association, and exhibits and sells traditional crafts and accessories made by them. The craftspersons take turns to be a store salesclerk, therefore there is an opportunity to talk directly with them.
