【葛飾区指定史跡 | Katsushika City-designated historic sites】

鈴木松什は、寛政10年(1798)柴又村に生まれ、通称を安五郎、俳号を無有庵松什といいました。瓦の製造を生業としていましたが、若くして俳諧の道に入りました。松什は俳句のほか書画にも優れ、中央の俳壇までその名を知られていました。鈴木松什は葛飾区の生んだ文人の先覚として、この地域の文化に寄与した顕彰すべき人物です。

Suzuki Shoju was born in Shibamata village in Kansei 10 (1798), he called "Yasugoro", and pen name was "Muyuan Shoju" of a haiku poet. He lived in the manufacture of kawara tiles, but he entered the way of haiku poet at a young age. Besides haiku poet, he was also excellent in paintings and calligraphic works. He was very well known at the central field of haiku professional. He is a distinguished person who contributs to the culture as a pioneer of the literati in Katsushika.
