このお地蔵様は、地元住民によって子供の厄除けと健全な成長を願って宝永3年(1706)年に建立されました。雨風にさらされて痛み出来ていいたため、大正時代の中期に地元民によって御堂が作られました。その後、昭和42年(1967)に現在の御堂に作り変えられました。昭和中期頃までは、毎年6月23日に、田植えが終わった喜びと感謝のお祝いを兼ねた参拝が行われていました。現在でも、簡単になりましたが、行事が続けられています。

This Jizo was built in Hoei 3rd (1706) by the local residents for hopes of children 's amulet and healthy growth. Mido (enshrinement hall of a JIzo) was built in the middle of the Taisho era (1912-1926) for protection because Jizo was damaged by the rain and breeze. It was changed to the current Mido in (Showa 42th (1976). Until mid Showa era (1926-1989), on June 23rd every year, a lot of worshipers were comming for celebration and appreciation for finising rice planting. Still now, the event is held though it has become a simple.
