【葛飾区登録有形文化財 | Katsushika City-registered tangible cultural properties】

根府川石の不整形板石碑で、明治6年(1873)銘の訓導、橘田春湖による銘文が刻まれています。銘文によると柴又は土地がやや高く、昔から水の利用に苦労が耐えませんでしたが、天保6年(1835)に鈴木幸七の手によって用水路が引かれ、窮状が克服されたことがわかります。

On the non-fairing stone monument of Nebuka Stone, there is a Kitta Shunko's inscription engraved in Meiji 6 (1873). According to the inscription, land of Shibamata is a little bit high therefore it has been struggling to utilization for a long time. In Tempo 6 (1835), Suzuki Yukichi made a canal and it could overcome that painful condition.
