昭和30年代頃の小合溜一帯に生息していた水辺の植物が生育する状態に復元することが目指されています。外来生物の除去も行われています。池には5つの島があり、中央に2本の橋が架けられています。

It aims to restore the waterside plants that lived in the Koaidame pond around in Showa 30's (1955-65). Non-native species are also being removed. There are five islands in the pond, and two bridges in the center.
